These changes do not implement callbacks on connection/disconnection. Instead, these changes implement mournfully the
on_subscribeandon_unsubscribecallbacks. Other than linux, Windows and MacOS backends provide frameworks that function at the GATT layer, not the LINK or GAP layer that would handle the true connection between devices.
